無根樹，花正孤，幽深夜空仰望無。心無畏怖何所憂，清風拂面自如歌。
▶Modern Translation
A lonely flower stands on a rootless tree;
In deep night nothing answers its upward gaze.
With no fear, no worries, what is there to dread?
A pure breeze brushes the face, and the heart sings of itself.
▶Interpretation
1.[無根樹，花正孤] – Isolation = noble self-reliance.
2.[幽深夜空仰望無] – The void above yields no external answers.
3.[心無畏怖何所憂] – Fearless heart = carefree mind.
4.[清風拂面自如歌] – Harmonising with the breeze, the spirit is light.
▶Interpretation related to Tai Chi
•Cultivate independence; look inward, not outward.
•Release fear to smooth movement.
•Natural breath and motion merge like wind in willows.
