Rootless_Tree_100Verses#67・Enlarged image of the painting

Enlarged image of the poem below as Xieyi
Verse 67
▶Original Text
▶Modern Translation
Golden petals crown the rootless tree;
When motion and rest are one, auspicious qi arises.
Yin-yang shape-shift with intent;
Tai Chi returns to the source—Dao remains.
▶Interpretation
Earth-centered blossom.
Motion = stillness, qi turns blessing.
Intent steers poles in transit.
Tai Chi returns to origin, Dao abides.
▶Interpretation related to Tai Chi
• Maintain central equilibrium though rootless.
• “Movement within stillness, stillness within movement.”
• Use intention to pivot yin to yang seamlessly.
• All practice circles back to quiet simplicity.
